Role Overview

The investment team at GV handles the complete investment lifecycle across locations and asset classes. This includes sourcing opportunities, negotiations, deal structuring, business plan preparation and approvals, due diligence, documentation, and closing. The team also supports business development, strategic initiatives, and the creation of new investment themes and products for asset and fund management.

In this role, you will support the investment process through financial modelling, market research, analysis, creation of market databases, and preparation of deal- and fund-level materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Build financial models for potential investment opportunities.
• Help prepare investment memorandums for the Investment Committee.
• Study and analyse target micro-markets in depth, including supply and demand, infrastructure progress, current pricing and rents, and competing developments.
• Develop and maintain market databases and track listed real estate players in India and overseas.
• Support the team in creating new strategies and products.
• Prepare presentation and deal materials for both existing and emerging strategies.

Qualifications and Experience

• An MBA from a top-10 business school such as IIM, FMS, XLRI or ISB, or equivalent distinction as a CA rank-holder.
• Four to six years of experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity, or Big 4 advisory.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical ability.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• High standards of integrity and confidentiality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong collaboration skills along with good organisational ability.
• Prior exposure to real estate is preferred.
• Willingness to travel across the target markets as needed.
