Job Overview
We are seeking a Manager for Financial Planning & Analysis with a regional focus to join our functional business partnership team. This role involves close collaboration with regional functions to support growth across our three brands: foodpanda, foodora, and Yemeksepeti. Utilizing insights from profit and loss statements and cash flow analyses, you will foster a vital connection between finance and business teams to enable data-informed decision making.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models and forecasting tools addressing strategic planning, capital distribution, cash flow management, and other strategic decisions at the regional level.
- Track and analyze monthly operational and financial results including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, mid-month progress, and key operational metrics, explaining variances and emphasizing significant patterns with actionable recommendations.
- Establish strong partnerships with cross-functional teams and senior leadership; act as a trusted financial advisor during investment evaluations, communicating complex financial information in an accessible way to non-finance stakeholders.
- Function as the main liaison for regional departments—logistics, commercial, operations, pricing—helping design scalable processes and guiding management toward achieving financial and operational objectives.
- Drive initiatives focused on cost savings and revenue growth, while continuously enhancing and automating financial reporting and operational frameworks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
- Between 3 and 8 years of experience in FP&A, finance business partnering, investment banking, or strategy consulting, ideally gained in dynamic, fast-growing multinational corporations, particularly in technology, e-commerce, delivery, or logistics sectors. Candidates with more experience may be considered for Senior Manager roles.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel modeling complemented by a strong aptitude for solving complex problems. Experience working with sizeable datasets and tools like Tableau, SQL, or Power BI to support analytical-driven decisions.
- Strong communication skills with proven success in influencing senior leaders and delivering presentations to C-suite executives. Ability to simplify financial concepts for broader audiences.
- Self-driven and proactive with excellent ownership and teamwork spirit, capable of establishing new processes and following projects through to successful conclusion.
