Role Overview

The Deputy Manager/Manager in AI Security & Governance will be responsible for delivering engagements related to AI security, governance, and Responsible AI across various industries. The role includes evaluating AI-related risks, implementing governance frameworks, and aiding clients in developing ethical, compliant, and secure AI initiatives. This individual will collaborate closely with senior leadership, contribute to client projects, and help strengthen organizational capabilities in AI security and governance.

Key Duties

• Support AI governance, risk management, and compliance projects spanning multiple industries.
• Conduct AI risk and maturity assessments aligned with frameworks like ISO/IEC 42001, NIST AI RMF, ISO 27001, and relevant regulations.
• Analyze AI risks covering model governance, data privacy, bias mitigation, explainability, third-party AI threats, and compliance with legal standards.
• Assist clients in building Responsible AI governance policies, standards, and control frameworks.
• Review design and effectiveness of controls for AI-enabled systems and workflows.
• Participate in AI governance audits, compliance checks, and readiness evaluations for regulations including the EU AI Act and DPDP Act.
• Create risk registers, remediation plans, management reports, and presentations for executives.
• Oversee workstreams within engagements and maintain collaboration with client stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
• Contribute to the growth of the practice by engaging in thought leadership and capability building initiatives.

Knowledge and Skills

• Strong grasp of Cyber Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) principles, risk management, and control frameworks.
• Familiarity with AI governance and risk methodologies, particularly ISO/IEC 42001 and NIST AI RMF.
• Understanding of Responsible AI concepts, AI lifecycle threats, and new AI-related regulatory requirements.
• Educational qualification: Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or Bachelor of Engineering (B.E).
