Position Summary

We are seeking a Maintenance Millwright to join our Scarborough location. This role involves supporting manufacturing operations by ensuring machinery and equipment remain in optimal working condition while prioritizing health and safety.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive hourly rate of $45.93, with added shift premiums of $0.65 for afternoon shifts and $1.10 for night shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve electromechanical issues on both production and auxiliary machinery
• Modify, repair, or replace machine components to maintain continuous production capacity
• Inspect and lubricate machine parts while evaluating future maintenance needs
• Perform equipment setup, changeover, and adjustments to facilitate production processes
• Participate actively in safety meetings and contribute towards departmental safety initiatives
• Engage in major projects including installations and start-ups
• Interpret technical drawings and schematics to identify spare parts requirements
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols
• Be adaptable to respond to maintenance demands outside regular hours if necessary

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance
• Holds an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Millwright License (433A)
• Effective communication abilities
• Strong comprehension of safety procedures
• Attention to detail with good analytical skills
• Ability to perform professionally under pressure and meet deadlines
