Position Summary
This role involves addressing minor plumbing issues, such as clearing blocked drains, unclogging toilets, and fixing leaking faucets. Additional tasks include performing small-scale repairs like tightening loose toilet seats, replacing light bulbs, and patching holes in walls. Periodic upkeep of tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication, is also required.
Responsibilities
- Follow company protocols and safety regulations closely.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries promptly.
- Complete any required safety training and maintain certifications.
- Maintain a clean and professional personal appearance and uniform.
- Protect company information and assets confidentially.
- Interact courteously with guests and recognize their service requirements, including accommodating guests with disabilities.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with coworkers and guests.
- Build positive working relationships and respond appropriately to colleagues' concerns.
- Adhere to company quality standards.
- Perform physical duties such as bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, and reaching above shoulders or below knees.
- Inspect tools, equipment, and machinery visually for maintenance needs.
- Lift, push, carry, or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Assist with movement of items over 100 pounds (e.g., air conditioning units, televisions, dressers).
- Use stairs, service ramps, and ladders safely as needed.
- Manipulate objects of varying size and weight effectively.
- Carry out other duties assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Minimum education requirement of a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- No previous work experience required.
- No supervisory experience necessary.
- No professional licenses or certifications mandatory.
