Job Overview
Mitre 10 MEGA Hastings is seeking a vigilant and professional team member dedicated to minimizing shrinkage and fostering a secure, safe, and welcoming store environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote loss prevention initiatives across Retail, Garden, and Trade departments.
- Contribute to creating a safe atmosphere for both customers and team members.
- Assist staff in identifying and preventing theft and fraudulent activities.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and nearby retail establishments.
- Detain shoplifters utilizing approved methods, prioritizing safety at all times.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate remains composed under pressure, is attentive, trustworthy, and professional with a strong emphasis on delivering excellent customer service. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory.

Working Hours
