Role overview
A growing recycling and second-hand goods business in Al Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah is looking for a seasoned Logistics Manager who can lead logistics operations with a strong commercial mindset. The role sits within the recycling/second-hand goods sector and calls for solid GCC logistics exposure, ideally gained in the UAE, along with hands-on knowledge of shipment management, import and export processes, customs procedures, and ways to reduce logistics costs.
What you will handle
- Lead logistics and supply chain activities across the UAE and wider GCC region from end to end.
- Coordinate imports, exports, freight movement, and customs clearance activities.
- Manage logistics flow for recycled and second-hand merchandise.
- Find practical ways to lower logistics spend and strengthen operational margins.
- Liaise with transport providers, shipping lines, suppliers, warehouses, and clearing agents.
- Keep all operations aligned with UAE customs rules and international shipping requirements.
- Track stock movement and help ensure goods are delivered on time.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with vendors and logistics partners.
- Monitor KPIs, shipment performance, and logistics-related costs.
- Introduce process improvements that make logistics work more efficient.
What the employer is looking for

- Strong exposure to GCC logistics, with UAE experience preferred.
- Direct background in the recycling or second-hand goods sector is mandatory.

- Leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capability are important.
- The candidate should be professional, presentable, and commercially minded.

- Exposure to large-scale recycling or resale supply chains.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving operational setting.
- Solid analytical ability and business management awareness.
