About the Role
Join our dynamic team at Splash Waterworld, one of the most energetic areas of our resort. As a Lifeguard, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our guests remain safe while enjoying various water attractions, from fast-paced slides and wave pools to family zones. This position is highly interactive—you'll not only supervise aquatic areas but also actively contribute to a positive and memorable guest experience by facilitating activities and creating an engaging environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise pools, slides, and water-based areas, ensuring safety protocols are consistently applied.
- Remain vigilant and proactive to prevent incidents and respond effectively to emergencies.
- Engage with guests, help run poolside activities, and provide top-notch customer service.
- Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends (35 hours per week across 5 days).
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability as a strong and confident swimmer.
- Excellent situational awareness and acute attention to detail.
- Calm, composed reaction to emergencies and stressful situations.
- Energetic, reliable, and able to thrive in an active team setting.
- Previous experience in leisure, hospitality, or a water park is helpful but not essential.
- No prior lifeguard qualification required – training and support to earn your National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) provided.
Additional Information
- Permanent, full-time position.
- Live-in accommodation available for those relocating.
- Work may include school holidays and large event weekends.
