About the Role
We have an opening for an LGV Driver to become part of our collaborative local collection team, operating primarily within the Bridport area. If you're seeking a role with consistent daytime hours that keeps you local, values work-life balance, and involves both driving and physical activity outdoors, this position offers those benefits. You'll be driving local routes Monday through Friday in 7.5 hour shifts with early starts, occasionally including weekend and public holiday work.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive local waste collection routes safely and efficiently.
- Work within a team supporting each other towards excellent service.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety requirements and protocols during operations.
Candidate Requirements
- Hold at least a Category C driving licence.
- Possess a current digital tachograph card.
- Have completed the Driver CPC qualification and can provide proof.
- Physical fitness to comfortably perform outdoor tasks involved in waste collection.
- Previous experience in the waste industry and local area knowledge is advantageous but not mandatory.
