Leveraged Finance Associate

Overview

A top-tier banking and finance law firm is currently recruiting a Leveraged Finance Associate to be based in its Sydney office. The successful candidate will provide expert advice to private equity sponsors, financial institutions, and corporate borrowers on matters related to acquisition finance, syndicated lending, refinancing arrangements, and other intricate financing transactions. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with one of the most respected finance teams in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide counsel on acquisition finance deals and leveraged lending structures.
• Assist clients including private equity sponsors and corporate borrowers with syndicated loan transactions.
• Advise on refinancing and other complex finance arrangements.
• Work closely with the finance team to deliver high-quality legal solutions.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified lawyer with at least three years of post-qualification experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in leveraged or acquisition finance.
• Experience from a leading Australian or international law firm.
