Letter Carrier - Delivery Agent (Permanent)

Role Overview

Join Canada Post as a full-time, permanent Delivery Agent, becoming the essential representative delivering mail and parcels to individuals and businesses in your community. Based in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec, this role offers an active position, working outdoors year-round on foot or by vehicle to ensure timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Begin each day at the depot sorting and preparing mail and parcels for distribution.
• Operate and drive a Canada Post vehicle to deliver items efficiently along your route.
• Spend the majority of your workday outdoors performing deliveries on foot or via vehicle.
• Return to the depot to offload incoming mail and packages for future delivery cycles.

Candidate Qualifications

• Possess a valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s license with a clean driving record for a minimum of three years (driver's abstract required).
• Physically capable of lifting mail weighing up to 22.7 kg (50 lb) and routinely carrying items up to 15.9 kg (35 lb) throughout your shift.
• Able to work reliably in all weather conditions.
• Experience in customer service and/or delivery roles is advantageous.
