Position Summary

This role is designed for individuals seeking to become skilled leak repair technicians. You will work under the guidance of experienced staff, assisting in various repair tasks and training to progress your career in this niche field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow safety protocols and ensure documentation complies with company standards.
  • Evaluate leaking components, provide findings to supervisors and engineering teams.
  • Assist with leak repairs using techniques such as drill and tap, wiring and banding, and clamp or enclosure installation.
  • Take accurate measurements and support standby operations.
  • Inspect components and assess repair effectiveness.
  • Attend mandatory training to enhance technical skills and maintain required certification.
  • Identify situations requiring the use of specialized safety equipment and procedures.
  • Document all service interventions as specified by company requirements.

Physical and Mental Demands

  • Capable of lifting and transporting up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to maneuver within industrial environments, including accessing elevated sections via ladders or stairwells.
  • Possesses clear communication abilities and functional vision and hearing (with or without reasonable accommodation).
  • Exhibits sufficient manual dexterity for routine tasks and traveling as needed.
  • Maintains focus, multitasks efficiently, and communicates effectively in demanding environments.

Working Conditions

  • Based at a TEAM field office or jobsite, both indoors and outdoors, often within active industrial settings.
  • Regular interaction with team members, superiors, and clients.
  • Exposure to loud production environments and the need to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Must handle varying climate conditions and periodic travel out of town.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Additional technical, industry, or vocational training is advantageous.
  • Experience in a related field (one year or more) considered a plus.
  • A valid driver’s license and TWIC card are preferred.
