Lead Specialist, National Talent Development

Job Summary

The role is focused on supporting the execution of various national development initiatives aligned with the bank's strategy to boost the representation of nationals within its workforce. This includes crafting and facilitating in-house training programs tailored to build both technical and leadership capabilities among national employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Unit Head of National Development in managing and executing national development schemes involving training, coaching, and mentoring activities.
• Conduct induction programs for new hires and leaders, and design and monitor work placement programs for students to ensure their effective implementation and distribution.
• Evaluate the progression of Qatari national employees and advise on appropriate training or placement opportunities within the bank’s various departments.
• Collaborate closely with line managers and senior leadership to support national career advancement efforts.
• Oversee performance management processes specifically for national staff to ensure alignment with personalized development objectives.
• Contribute to the establishment of talent management frameworks, tools, and nurturing strategies for the national workforce to meet the bank's strategic goals.
• Coordinate talent review processes, career planning, and succession planning to accelerate national staff development and succession replacing expatriates.
• Organize and present at the annual National Forum event.
• Design and deliver leadership training programs and develop internal coaching and mentoring initiatives for knowledge transfer.
• Manage the operation of induction and in-house training sessions aimed at enhancing employee skills and preparing them for future roles.
• Track mandated training course completions for employees in line with bank policy.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls to comply with risk, audit, and regulatory standards while ensuring quality service delivery.
• Ensure adherence to quality, health, safety, and environmental policies to promote employee safety and lawful compliance.
• Produce timely and accurate departmental reports that conform to bank standards and requirements.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

Education

A Bachelor's degree in a business-related field is required.
