Overview
This role collaborates closely with Technology leadership to ensure strategic coherence, governance, and efficient execution within the Technology Division. It integrates financial oversight, vendor governance, and operational management to underpin sustainable achievement of strategic goals.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Partner with senior management to define and implement technology strategies and transformation agendas.
- Oversee program governance by monitoring key milestones, managing risks, and tracking dependencies to assure timely completion.
- Support senior executives and board interactions through clear communications and insightful updates.
- Lead budgeting, financial planning, and cost governance for technology projects, focusing on optimizing resource use.
- Pursue cost efficiencies while balancing investments in innovation to maximize organizational value.
- Provide anticipatory financial analyses to inform strategic decisions and investment approaches.
- Incorporate value-based investment methodologies linking technology expenditure to tangible business results.
- Develop and implement technology sourcing and vendor management strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
- Manage procurement processes for projects and ongoing operations ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
- Establish and maintain detailed vendor governance, performance assessments, and risk control to reduce operational exposures.
- Enhance commercial value and maintain strategic vendor partnerships to improve services and value delivery.
- Drive initiatives to cultivate people engagement, culture, and high-performance standards within the Technology Division.
- Coordinate communication channels such as town halls and leadership updates to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Serve as the primary interface with Group functions and stakeholders to promote cohesive collaboration.
- Administer governance meetings, reporting duties, and operational rhythms to ensure robust oversight and accountability.
Candidate Qualifications and Attributes
- Bachelor’s degree with 8 to 10 years of experience in IT strategy, financial management, procurement, or vendor oversight.
- Strong expertise in IT financial planning, sourcing, and governance frameworks.
- Proven ability to implement strategies into executable plans with measurable impact.
- Effective stakeholder management and influencing skills, especially with senior leadership.
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation capabilities.
- High levels of ownership, flexibility, and disciplined implementation mindset.
- Demonstrated success in cost reduction and enhancing operational efficiency.
