About the Company

Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Design and implement maintenance programs following project completion.
- Independently maintain all gardens and soft landscaping areas for finalized projects.
- Oversee and conduct all horticultural tasks as outlined in contracted scopes of work.
- Perform planting, mulching, and material remediation or replacement activities.
- Apply herbicides and pesticides appropriately and safely.
- Manage turf mowing on various scales from small to large.
- Handle watering operations across different project sizes.
- Install both temporary and permanent irrigation systems as required.
- Supervise maintenance crew to ensure timely and efficient task completion.
- Coordinate with office personnel for scheduling deliveries and managing purchase orders.
- Conduct risk assessments and adhere strictly to company safety policies.
- Complete and submit all necessary company documentation.
- Report progress, time allocation, costs, and other relevant details directly to the Director.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum five years of demonstrated experience exclusively in softscape maintenance within landscaping firms.
- Comprehensive understanding of plants, landscaping materials, and construction practices.
- Proven capability to maintain all types of softscape independently without supervision.
- Strong organizational skills with a high degree of autonomy.
- Certificate III in Horticulture is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Possession of a valid New South Wales Driver’s License.
- Current Workcover white card.
- Proficiency in English communication.
- Australian citizenship is mandatory.
