Land Manager

Role Overview

An established international company in renewable energy development is seeking a Land Manager to aid the expansion of its onshore wind projects across Germany. This position suits professionals with 2 to 4 years' experience in land acquisition, business development, real estate, or renewable energy who have a passion for forging partnerships and scouting new project opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and secure appropriate land parcels for upcoming onshore wind projects.
• Establish and nurture relationships with landowners, municipalities, and other local stakeholders.
• Lead negotiation efforts for land agreements including lease contracts and option agreements.
• Support assessments related to site screening and project feasibility.
• Collaborate closely with development, permitting, and technical teams to align objectives.
• Keep track of regional market trends and development opportunities.
• Contribute actively to the company's growth in Germany's renewable energy sector.

Experience and Qualifications

• Two to four years of experience in land acquisition, real estate, renewable energy, project development, infrastructure, or connected sectors.
• Prior involvement in the wind energy sector is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Proven capabilities in negotiation and managing various stakeholders.
• Strong commercial insight combined with a proactive mindset to find and seize new business prospects.
• Fluency in German and professional-level English proficiency.
• Willingness to travel throughout Germany as needed.
