Position Summary

The Labourer will be responsible for assembling trusses while maintaining a safe, efficient working environment. Collaboration with team members is essential to ensure the consistent production of high-standard components.

Key Qualifications

• Proficient using standard hand tools and capable of precisely reading tape measures in feet, inches, and sixteenths.
• Ability to comprehend and execute written job instructions accurately.
• Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing.
• Reliable team player with a strong focus on workplace safety.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and motivated to maintain productivity throughout shifts.
• Willingness to acquire new skills and contribute ideas that promote continuous improvement initiatives.

Primary Duties

• Set up the workstation at the beginning of each assignment in coordination with the Team Leader.
• Build trusses according to company standards and training guidelines.
• Inspect materials, tools, and finished work for quality, reporting any issues promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the work area during and after operations.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols when operating equipment and machinery.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting hourly wage: 19.50 CAD.
