Job summary
This role supports the day-to-day running of a laboratory by keeping the space tidy, organizing equipment and materials, helping during practical sessions, and making sure the lab remains safe and well arranged. The selected candidate will receive guidance and training from the Faculty In-charge and Lab Technicians on the required lab processes and standards.

Department: Laboratory - Pharmacy
Key responsibilities
- Keep the laboratory and nearby storage spaces clean and properly organized.
- Prepare and arrange equipment, instruments, chemicals, specimens, and other materials before practical sessions.
- Assist faculty members and laboratory technicians during lab classes and related activities.
- Move lab materials, instruments, and supplies wherever needed.
- Store laboratory items correctly as directed by the Faculty In-charge and Lab Technicians.
- Help with stock checks and monitor the availability of consumables and other lab supplies.
- Follow safety practices to maintain a secure laboratory environment.
- Inform the relevant authority about damage, shortages, or maintenance needs.
- Carry out other laboratory support tasks assigned by the Faculty In-charge from time to time.
Education required
Minimum qualification is SSC / 10th pass from a recognized board.
Experience
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required. Experience gained in a laboratory, educational institution, hospital, or a similar setting will be preferred.
