About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic Kitchen Hands to join our dynamic team at Sea World, Main Beach on the Gold Coast. As a vital member working behind the scenes, you'll maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment ensuring smooth shift operations. You'll be part of a fast-paced setting, fueling the magic of our theme parks with your vital support.

Responsibilities

• Operate effectively in a busy kitchen environment maintaining high standards.
• Wash and sort all kitchenware to their designated locations.
• Adhere to hygiene and food safety protocols, including waste management, sanitizing hand basins, kitchen trolleys, benches, floors, and replenishing hygiene supplies.
• Clean and maintain cold rooms, chopping boards, dishwashers, store shelves, ice machines, range hoods, and freezers.
• Support event setups and breakdowns when required.

Requirements

• Experience in high-volume kitchen environments is preferred.
• Solid understanding of food hygiene and food safety standards.
• Ability to thrive working in a fast-moving, pressure-filled setting.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Willingness to work at any Village Roadshow Theme Park location as necessary.
• Reliable transportation to commute to work.
