Junior Mechanical Engineer

Job Overview

The Junior Mechanical Engineer will provide assistance in the design, coordination, and documentation of mechanical systems specifically tailored for data center projects. Under close supervision from senior engineers, the role involves preparing engineering calculations, technical drawings, specifications, and conducting design reviews. This is done while ensuring all work adheres to company design standards, international codes, local laws, and the specific needs of individual projects.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Recent graduates with a keen interest in mechanical design are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Although not mandatory, up to one year of experience in mechanical engineering design is desirable.
• Relevant internships, academic projects, or practical exposure relating to HVAC, building services, or data center mechanical design are advantageous.

Technical Knowledge

• Fundamental knowledge of mechanical building services such as HVAC systems, chilled water systems, liquid cooling systems, ventilation, plumbing and drainage, fire protection, building management systems (BMS), and principles of energy efficiency.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit software is preferred.
• Exposure to engineering software tools is beneficial.
