Junior IT System Administrator / Junior IT Technician (m/w/d)

Role Overview

We invite you to join us as a Junior IT System Administrator or Junior IT Technician, where you'll support and manage various IT infrastructure components while contributing to smaller projects and customer support.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee server, storage, networking, and IT security segments along with IT administration projects.
• Handle smaller customer projects and migrations, including server setups and email system migrations.
• Perform patch installations and updates for third-party software on servers.
• Design and maintain all Windows network services.
• Select, acquire, install, and document IT systems in line with customer requirements.
• Engage with clients to analyze faults and provide remote troubleshooting assistance.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Completed vocational training as an IT specialist in system integration or an equivalent qualification.
• Familiarity with network technologies such as LAN, WAN, VLAN, VPN, and server services including DHCP and DNS.
• Initial experience working in larger IT environments with common Windows Server and client operating systems.
• Preferably some knowledge of virtualization technologies like VMware and/or Hyper-V.
• Strong focus on service quality and client orientation.
• Persistence and methodical approach when diagnosing challenging support issues.
• Willingness to learn and tackle new and demanding tasks.
