Role Overview
The Junior Digital Designer will assist in designing and executing digital creative assets that enhance artist storytelling and fan engagement within ecommerce platforms, campaigns, content, and marketing materials. Reporting to Creative Directors and senior designers, this entry-level position offers an opportunity to develop skills across diverse digital projects in an inspiring, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with design and production of digital assets across ecommerce stores, campaigns, content, and marketing channels.
- Implement creative direction under guidance from senior design staff and Creative Directors.
- Develop visual materials for artist storefronts, promotional efforts, product launches, social media, email marketing, and other digital experiences.
- Contribute to layouts, graphic elements, visual systems, and campaign assets development.
- Consistently apply brand guidelines, established design systems, and creative frameworks across all projects.
- Prepare design files and assets for production and developer handoff.
- Support updates on artist websites, landing pages, promotional displays, and merchandising activities.
- Engage in creative reviews, brainstorming sessions, and project launches alongside cross-functional teams.
- Provide creative ideas and solutions during conceptual stages to enhance project outcomes.
- Maintain accuracy, consistency, and quality throughout all design deliverables.
- Stay current with design trends, digital fan experiences, music culture, and relevant lifestyle areas like fashion.
- Continually improve design skills, technical expertise, and creative thinking abilities.
Qualifications and Attributes
- 0 to 2 years of experience in digital or graphic design, ecommerce, creative agencies, or related fields.
- A compelling portfolio demonstrating strong visual design and creative problem-solving.
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and similar design software.
- Good grasp of typography, composition, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
- Meticulous attention to detail committed to high-quality outputs.
- Avid learner enthusiastic about feedback and teamwork.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Passion for music, cultural movements, fashion, digital experiences, and storytelling.
- Knowledge of ecommerce and digital marketing principles is advantageous.
