Job Overview
Priyanka Solar is seeking a Junior Design Engineer based in Kolkata, West Bengal. The role involves designing solar power plants with the assistance of specialized software tools, contributing to layout and diagram preparations, and supporting the engineering documentation process. Candidates with a basic grasp of solar energy are preferred, although training will be provided to enhance relevant knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Create design layouts and single line diagrams (SLDs) for solar power plants using software tools.
- Conduct shadow analysis to optimize plant design.
- Assist the engineering team with preparing and managing design documentation.
Candidate Expectations
- Show a willingness to learn and engage fully in a full-time role.
- Possess a foundational understanding of solar energy concepts (training available).
Preferred Skills (Optional)
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and PVSyst software.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel for data management.
