Role Overview
This full-time remote position seeks a Junior Business Development Executive proficient in Tamil, focusing on expanding vendor engagement and supporting business development objectives across Tamil Nadu and the wider South Indian market.
Key Responsibilities
- Reach out to and establish contact with prospective service providers in the region.
- Present the CapeTerminal platform and assist service providers in completing the onboarding process.
- Gather, verify, and manage essential information from vendors.
- Foster relationships with business leaders and local vendors to promote platform adoption.
- Participate in generating leads, conducting market research, and supporting sales and marketing campaigns.
- Ensure diligent record-keeping of outreach, leads, and onboarding status.
Requirements
- Native-level fluency in Tamil, with good command of English required.
- Excellent communication abilities and interpersonal skills.
- Comfort with telecalling and engaging business owners via phone.
- Competency in the use of spreadsheets, email, and various digital collaboration tools.
- Self-driven attitude and ability to work independently from a remote setting.
- Open to freshers as well as individuals with prior telecalling or sales-related experience.
