About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Berlin. This role involves hands-on management of daily bookkeeping for our fund management entities, presenting an excellent opportunity to gain experience in venture capital finance. The ideal candidate is detail-focused, eager to learn, and ready to develop professionally within the role.

Key Responsibilities

Independently managing the booking of business transactions
Preparing and handling outgoing invoices
Assisting with the preparation of annual financial statements
Cooperating closely with external tax consultants and auditors
Supporting ongoing enhancements of finance processes and tools

Candidate Profile

Initial accounting experience from internships, student work, apprenticeships, or relevant academic background
Basic knowledge of DATEV software is advantageous; willingness to learn is essential
Demonstrates a structured and meticulous approach to work
Proactive and dependable: responsible in task completion, early identification of issues, and ownership
Receptive to digital tools and process optimization
Fluent in German and English at C1 level
