Junior Accountant (Client Facing)

Job Overview

We are looking for a diligent and skilled Accountant to join our finance team. This role demands precision in handling financial data, preparing essential reports, and maintaining adherence to applicable accounting standards and regulations in a client-facing capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep precise bookkeeping records and perform regular reconciliation of clients' general ledger accounts.
• Compile monthly journal entries, execute necessary adjustments, and assist with month-end closing procedures.
• Regularly update and reconcile ledgers related to affiliated parties.
• Assist with VAT compliance, tax filings, and maintain comprehensive financial documentation using ERP and accounting software platforms.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant discipline.
• At least one year of professional accounting experience, ideally with client interaction.
• Proficiency in ERP accounting systems and strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with UAE VAT and tax laws is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical abilities coupled with strong communication and organizational competencies.
• Fluency in English is required.
