Overview
The Job Developer role focuses on securing independent employment opportunities for program participants by collaborating with local employers. This position involves managing participant placements while ensuring quality support, service excellence, and adherence to ethical standards.
Compensation and Benefits
This full-time role offers hourly pay ranging from $22 to $24. Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure independent job placements for program participants with community employers through employment services programming.
- Build and maintain employer relationships by highlighting the benefits of hiring individuals supported by employment services.
- Conduct proactive outreach such as cold calling and face-to-face visits to establish new employment partnerships.
- Engage in networking through organizations like MassHire and Chambers of Commerce to expand opportunities.
- Serve as the main liaison to partner employers, ensuring superior customer service, responsiveness, and collaboration.
- Collaborate with employers and stakeholders to identify job carving opportunities and tailor person-centered placement solutions.
- Assist candidates with applications, interviews, pre-employment, and onboarding procedures alongside internal support teams.
- Support client case management by sharing essential information and consultations with involved teams.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Preferred associate degree.
- Valid driver’s license (Class C or D).
- One to three years of relevant experience in a similar role or field.
