Role Overview
AVASO Technology Solutions is looking for an experienced onsite IT support technician to provide desktop and end-user assistance in Nuremberg, Germany. The assignment is a dispatch role suited to someone who can handle hands-on troubleshooting, user support, and day-to-day technical operations in a fast-moving environment.

What You Will Do
- Deliver both on-site and remote desktop assistance so user issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
- Diagnose and fix problems related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Set up, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and connected devices.
- Deploy operating systems, updates, and application packages as required.
- Partner with the IT team to investigate, resolve, or escalate incidents when needed.
- Run regular system checks and help keep systems current, stable, and secure.
- Create user guidance and technical documentation when necessary.
- Work with internal stakeholders and manage support tickets in an organized manner.
Skills and Qualifications Needed
- At least 2 years of experience in desktop support or a closely related role.
- Practical knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory for account administration, group policies, and access/security control.
- Comfort using remote support tools and standard troubleshooting methods.
- Working understanding of networking basics such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Good command of Microsoft Office and similar productivity applications.
- Ability to identify hardware faults and carry out repairs or replacements.
- Experience with system imaging and deployment tools such as SCCM and MDT.
- Working familiarity with ITIL-based incident, problem, and change handling.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
- Capability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a busy setting.
- German and English proficiency at B2 level is mandatory.
Must-Have Credentials
- CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), or an equivalent certification.
- Exposure to cloud productivity platforms such as Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
- Understanding of IT security best practices and basic security protocols.
