Role Overview

The IT department at Wycon Cosmetics seeks to enhance its systems capabilities by hiring one IT Support / Help Desk Specialist. This role is designed for quick integration into the team, focusing on supporting corporate IT device configuration and managing first-level technical assistance through a ticketing system.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct Tier I and Tier II Help Desk support activities.
• Offer remote technical support.
• Set up and configure corporate hardware such as computers, mobile and desk phones, and email accounts.
• Install and maintain client OS platforms and software including Windows, macOS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Monitor and manage support tickets in the IT Help Desk to ensure timely and efficient resolutions.

Candidate Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience/skills.
• Proficient in fundamental IT tools and systems.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
• Educational background focused on technical or scientific disciplines.
• Knowledge of a second foreign language such as French, Spanish, or Portuguese is advantageous.

The ideal applicant will have prior experience in a comparable position, although applicants at entry level will also be considered.
