IT Infrastructure Engineer - ETL Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in ETL and related technologies to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure and platform engineering, with hands-on experience in data integration, network management, and security practices.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

• Apply 5 to 7 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, platform management, or systems administration to maintain and enhance IT environments.
• Utilize practical knowledge of data integration platforms, API connectors, and ETL/ELT tools to support data workflows.
• Demonstrate a solid grasp of networking essentials, including firewalls, DNS, proxy servers, and VPN setup and configuration.
• Manage service accounts, API authentication tokens, certificates, and the lifecycle of credentials within enterprise settings.
• Adopt infrastructure as code methodologies employing tools such as Terraform and Ansible for environment automation.
• Troubleshoot sophisticated integration challenges that span network, authentication protocols, and application layers.

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of cyber asset management solutions like Axonius, Armis, ServiceNow CMDB, or Qualys.
• Understanding cybersecurity essentials such as attack surface management, vulnerability assessments, and asset discovery processes.
• Familiarity with the Singapore government IT infrastructure, particularly Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) and Whole-of-Government (WOG) shared services.
• Experience with container technologies and orchestration platforms including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to monitoring tools and observability platforms like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
• Collaborative experience working within cross-functional teams including data engineers and business analysts.
