About the Role
This opportunity is with Mercor, a company that links high-caliber creative and technical professionals with AI research labs. The firm is based in San Francisco and is backed by investors such as Benchmark, General Catalyst, Peter Thiel, Adam D'Angelo, Larry Summers, and Jack Dorsey.
Position Details
The assignment is for an Investment Banking Expert working remotely on a contract basis. Compensation is set at $130 per hour. The minimum commitment is four weeks, and the expected workload is 10 or more hours each week.
What You Will Do
- Assess financial models for correctness, completeness, and analytical rigor.
- Review investment banking materials to ensure they follow standard industry frameworks and methods.
- Share well-organized feedback with AI research teams to help improve training data quality and model outcomes.
- Create evaluation criteria and benchmarks for judging AI-generated finance tasks and solutions.
- Partner with subject matter experts to keep datasets consistent, relevant, and sufficiently broad.
- Work autonomously and asynchronously while meeting deadlines and contributing to better AI performance.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in investment banking at top-tier firms.
- Hands-on exposure to financial modeling, pitch decks, investment or analysis summaries and memos, or company and industry analysis.
Compensation & Legal
- This is an hourly contractor engagement.
- Payment is issued weekly.
