Investment Associate, Private Equity

Role overview

A pan-European private equity fund is looking to add an Associate to its London-based team. The firm invests across multiple sectors and works very closely with its portfolio businesses to support growth and value creation. This role offers broad exposure across the investing process, including origination, execution, and portfolio company work.

What you'll do

• Assist with deal execution, including building financial models and carrying out commercial analysis.
• Partner with portfolio companies on strategic and operational projects.
• Take part in sourcing opportunities and contribute to wider investment activity.

What the firm is looking for

• Between 1 and 5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, growth equity, or a similar area.
• Strong analytical judgement and a disciplined approach to research and diligence.
• Advanced capability in financial modelling and related technical work.
• Genuine interest in the sectors in which the fund invests.
• A strong academic record, ideally a 2.1 or first-class degree from a leading university, or an equivalent qualification.
• An entrepreneurial approach with the confidence to work independently.
• Commercial awareness, curiosity, and a strong appetite to learn.
• Interest in purpose-led investing.
