Investment Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking an Investment Analyst for a contract position offering remote work flexibility. The role requires a commitment of 10 to 40 hours per week with an hourly pay range between $154 to $210. The selected candidate will contribute to investment decision-making by developing advanced financial models and performing comprehensive analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and sustain detailed financial models such as Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Leveraged Buyout (LBO), and valuation frameworks to guide investment decisions.
• Carry out in-depth financial and investment analyses to evaluate opportunities and risks effectively.
• Generate precise financial reports, forecasts, and presentations promptly to support strategic discussions with stakeholders.
• Analyze extensive datasets to extract insights that influence capital markets and investment decisions.
• Stay updated with market trends, financial news, and new developments in financial technology to enhance investment approaches.
• Work collaboratively with cross-departmental teams to advance AI-enabled financial projects, aligning efforts with organizational goals.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a closely related discipline is essential.
• Substantial experience in financial analysis, investment analysis, or capital markets, with a minimum of unspecified years expected.
• Advanced capabilities in Excel for constructing financial models and performing data analytics.
• In-depth knowledge of valuation methods including DCF, LBO, and forecasting techniques.
• Excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in preparing and delivering comprehensive financial reports.
