- Carry out on-shelf availability work for planogrammed areas, including disposals, call-ins, vendor returns, scan-outs, and scan-out returns.

- Keep pull-and-quarantine items updated and stored in the correct holding area.
- Maintain accurate on-hand counts for the sales floor, stockroom, overstock areas, and pharmacy smart counts.
- Ensure compliance with state and local rules for regulated products such as alcohol and tobacco.
- Maintain inventory records, file and retain invoices, receipts, and return authorizations, and support physical inventory preparation and execution.
- Keep counters and shelves clean and properly merchandised.
- Stay familiar with store systems and equipment.
- Support package delivery activities, package scanning, package returns, and the Pickup Program.
- When serving as leader on duty, manage POS activity, including pricing exceptions, scanning errors, voids, refunds, cash drops, and change handling.
- Follow company policies and maintain respectful working relationships.
- Take on additional duties as assigned.
Training and development
- Attend company training sessions and complete all required e-learning, including safety modules.
- Obtain and keep any pharmacy license or certification required by the state.
Communications
- Act as a bridge between managers and other team members by coaching inventory system skills and sharing instructions when leading the shift.
- Escalate disciplinary concerns and customer complaints to management when serving as leader on duty.
