Role Overview
This role entails managing inventory control with a deep knowledge of distribution and fulfillment processes, including inventory flow, quality of inbound materials from suppliers, and driving innovative solutions. The Inventory Control Manager will partner with leadership to establish industry-leading warehouse management processes, taking full ownership of end-to-end operations and addressing any adverse trends with effective process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement site-specific strategies to optimize inventory management processes.
- Manage and design quality control systems for all inbound, outbound, and returned materials.
- Ensure accuracy and proper execution of inventory transactions within the system.
- Supervise quality control efforts to maintain timely, undamaged, and precise material handling.
- Drive analytics by creating balanced scorecards, modeling, and conducting monthly performance and cost reviews to present to senior management.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and work toward meeting established goals.
- Direct inventory and quality-related projects effectively.
- Serve as a mentor to the Inventory Control leadership team, promoting growth and expertise.
- Apply knowledge of Foreign Trade Zone regulations and SOX compliance to operations where relevant.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 2 years of management experience leading inventory control teams.
- Strong foundation in consumer products distribution within omni-channel environments.
- Demonstrated experience with Continuous Improvement and Lean methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills combined with problem-solving and root cause analysis capability, able to offer data-backed solutions.
- Adaptable and hands-on, balancing office work with floor operations approximately 50/50; capable of adjusting priorities swiftly.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
- Self-motivated with a drive to achieve results independently.
- Availability to supervise a 7-day-a-week Inventory Control operation, including nights and weekends.
- Positive attitude suited for a dynamic, startup-like environment.
Salary and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this role in Buckeye, AZ is $90,610 to $110,500, subject to adjustment based on individual qualifications and experience. Additional compensation components may include bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units.

Work Environment
This position is primarily onsite in Buckeye, Arizona. The workspace noise level is generally moderate. Physical demands include frequent sitting, manual dexterity tasks, talking, hearing, frequent reaching, occasional standing and walking, and the ability to lift or move items up to 25 pounds.
