Role overview
This internship is a strong opportunity for a university student to build practical experience in coordinating technology and business initiatives within a global luxury retail environment. Based at Jimmy Choo’s London head office, the intern will work closely with IT, Finance, Legal, business teams and outside suppliers to help keep projects organised, track progress and support everyday IT operations.
The position offers exposure to a broad mix of technology work, including infrastructure, cybersecurity, digital transformation, business systems, vendor coordination and operational enhancement projects. It is designed to strengthen hands-on skills in project coordination, stakeholder communication, IT governance and business operations.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with organising and coordinating IT projects and operational improvement work.
- Track project progress, milestones, risks and dependencies, and raise concerns when needed.
- Prepare project documents, progress updates and governance materials.
- Set up meetings, draft agendas, capture actions and follow up on open items.
- Support communication across IT, business teams and external suppliers.
- Help with change management and adoption of new tools and processes.
- Maintain project timelines, task trackers and action logs.
- Assist with supplier and contract administration, including renewals and service reviews.
- Support budgeting tasks, purchase approvals and software licence administration.
- Work with Finance and Legal teams on project documentation and approval steps.
- Take part in presentations and project briefings for leadership and steering committee meetings.
- Contribute practical ideas to improve processes and day-to-day efficiency.
- Support IT governance and change control activities.
Skills and qualifications
- A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management, Project Management, AI or a similar discipline.
- Strong planning, organisation and time management abilities.
- Clear written and spoken communication skills.
- Comfort using Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Teams.
- Ability to handle several priorities at once in a busy environment.
- Good attention to detail and solid analytical thinking.
