Job description

Overview

This role involves ensuring product quality through systematic pre-shipment inspections and thorough documentation in line with company requirements. The Inspector will prepare inspection procedures, carry out examinations, and produce detailed reports while coordinating effectively with quality assurance teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute pre-shipment inspections by developing and implementing inspection procedures and related documents according to company schedules and requests.
  • Assess products, determine inspection outcomes, generate reports, and promptly share findings with the appropriate personnel.
  • Communicate promptly with corporate divisional QA and stakeholders regarding lot rejections or quality concerns within the same day of inspection.
  • Recognize potential quality risks, identify discrepancies, and relay suggestions to supervisory or managerial staff swiftly and effectively.
  • Offer constructive feedback or highlight procedural/product issues to divisional QA or project managers to enhance inspection methods and increase efficiency.
  • Adhere to company policies by completing necessary documentation such as expense reports and performance reviews punctually.
  • Adapt flexibly to changes in work arrangements when required.
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by supervisors or managers within agreed timelines.

Qualifications

  • Possess at least a college degree or higher educational qualification.
  • Bring a minimum of one year experience in quality control with a solid sense of quality standards.
  • Experience in the medical device industry is advantageous.
  • Effective communication skills, positive personality traits, and teamwork abilities.
  • Detail-oriented, honest, and committed to ethical work practices.
  • Strong eagerness to acquire new knowledge and independently develop skills.
  • Flexibility to undertake frequent travel as part of the role.
