Role overview

This position is for an experienced IT Infrastructure Enterprise Architecture Consultant who can help drive enterprise architecture programs, set technology standards, and keep infrastructure decisions aligned with governance requirements, digital transformation goals, and the DGA framework. The role suits professionals with strong backgrounds in enterprise architecture, infrastructure design, governance, and digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks that follow DGA Enterprise Architecture standards.
• Shape and oversee infrastructure architecture across servers, networks, cloud, storage, security, and platform environments.
• Set architecture standards for application, data, integration, and infrastructure layers.
• Keep architecture direction aligned with national digital transformation goals and Vision 2030 priorities.
• Assess new and emerging technologies and advise on what best supports business strategy.
• Create target-state architecture roadmaps and transition plans for modernization.
• Ensure architecture work meets governance, regulatory, cybersecurity, and technical standards.
• Work with stakeholders to define architecture principles and governance controls.
• Review architecture proposals and recommend improvements for efficiency and modernization.
• Support technology choices, infrastructure planning, and enterprise-wide architecture initiatives.
• Prepare architecture documents, standards, reports, and executive-level presentations.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in enterprise architecture, infrastructure architecture, or a related consulting environment.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale digital transformation and enterprise architecture programs.
• Working knowledge of DGA Enterprise Architecture frameworks and TOGAF or similar architecture methods.
• Strong understanding of IT governance, compliance, and architectural controls.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Familiarity with data center infrastructure and architecture planning.
• Capability in application, data, and infrastructure architecture design.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Preferred professional certifications include TOGAF, COBIT, ITIL Foundation or above, cloud certifications, enterprise architecture certifications, and project management credentials such as PMP or PRINCE2.

The role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is a full-time onsite position. The job is focused on supporting enterprise architecture initiatives that contribute to organizational strategy, modernization, and national digital transformation objectives.
