About Jayasom Wellness Resort at Amaala
Jayasom Wellness Resort, opening in 2026 at Triple Bay, Amaala in Saudi Arabia in partnership with Red Sea Global, will serve as a unique retreat dedicated to wellness, holistic health, integrative medicine, and soulful care. The resort aims to provide personalized wellness journeys combining Western science with traditional therapies such as physiotherapy, nutrition, mindful recreation, spa treatments, and traditional healing to promote vitality, balance, and deep human connection.
Position Purpose
- Support the leadership team in translating the resort's strategy into executable programs, ensuring proper organizational structure and operational policies.
- Deliver advanced technical support and systems analysis, proactively identifying and resolving network and system issues.
- Act as a wellness and sustainability ambassador by cultivating awareness and modeling a healthy balanced lifestyle among team members.
General Duties

Key Operational Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical leadership and coordinate projects that ensure continuous operation of property’s IT systems and networks.
- Monitor system usage and anticipate future needs.
- Research and propose new hardware, software, and applications to enhance system reliability and support complex management IT requirements.
- Develop and implement resource-utilization policies for optimal efficiency.
- Lead data recovery planning and implementation for disaster recovery.
- Plan layout and selection of computing equipment to maximize operational efficiency and space use.
- Keep abreast of IT hardware and system advancements, integrating relevant technologies into the resort's future plans.
- Analyze complex business requirements and recommend appropriate IT solutions.
- Supervise and prioritize work for IT support staff.
- Test and troubleshoot software applications to ensure seamless integration and optimize data flow while reducing redundant data collection.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of information systems software and provide training and support to staff.
- Regularly report on service status and project progress to management.
- Diagnose and replace faulty hardware or software components as needed.
- Develop and enforce network security protocols to safeguard data, software, and hardware assets.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Demonstrated prior experience serving as an IT Manager within a resort environment.
- Experience collaborating with multicultural teams.
- Exposure to pre-opening operations is advantageous.
Knowledge and Competencies
- Understanding of information systems management, computer science, applications software, and database administration.
- Aware of IT trends and system technologies in the hospitality sector.
- Strong people management and leadership capabilities.
- Skilled in critical and strategic thinking, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and risk management.
- Capability to consult, influence stakeholders, and navigate complex organizational environments.
