Role summary

This is a full-time, on-site Industrial Cleaner position in Doncaster. The role focuses on keeping industrial and factory settings clean, hygienic, and safe, including production lines, specialist manufacturing areas, and other commercial premises.

What you'll do

• Carry out regular and deep-cleaning duties across industrial spaces to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean a range of surfaces using suitable tools and approved cleaning products.
• Operate cleaning equipment responsibly and safely, following site procedures.
• Follow cleaning plans for machinery areas, floors, and busy work zones.
• Handle waste segregation and recycling in line with site requirements.
• Work in accordance with health and safety rules, including correct PPE usage.
• Flag any repair, maintenance, or safety concerns to the relevant supervisor.
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to keep client sites consistently up to standard.

Requirements

• Background in industrial or commercial cleaning, ideally in factories, warehouses, or production environments.
• Confidence using cleaning tools and machines such as scrubbers, buffers, vacuum cleaners, and pressure washers.
• Good knowledge of hygiene standards, health and safety practices, and the safe use of chemicals.
• Strong eye for detail, reliability, and the discipline to follow set cleaning routines.
• Physical capability to manage manual tasks such as lifting, bending, extended standing, and working in different conditions.
• Clear communication skills, a cooperative attitude, and the ability to work independently when needed.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends depending on site demands.
• Prior industrial/commercial cleaning experience and a full driving licence are advantages, but not mandatory.
