Role Summary
The India Region Sales Head will be accountable for leading business expansion initiatives centered around Enterprise Integration, Digital Transformation, Cloud Connectivity, Managed Services, and Consulting Solutions. This pivotal leadership position calls for an entrepreneurial sales strategist capable of establishing strong strategic customer partnerships, acquiring new large-scale enterprise clients, and growing revenue within existing accounts. Close collaboration with global leadership, consulting units, delivery teams, and key technology partners is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement a comprehensive business strategy to attain robust revenue growth across India.
- Lead initiatives to acquire new enterprise clients and Global Capability Centres (GCCs).
- Establish lasting relationships with senior technology and business transformation leaders such as CIOs, CTOs, Chief Digital Officers, Enterprise Architects.
- Identify and pursue opportunities in areas including Enterprise Integration (SAP), Cloud Integration, API Management, Application Modernization, Digital Transformation, Intelligent Automation, Managed Integration Services, Data Connectivity, AI-driven Business Integration, and Enterprise Platform Modernization.
- Position consulting services, implementation projects, managed services, and long-term transformation programs.
- Coordinate with global consulting and delivery teams to craft successful proposals.
- Forge strategic partnerships with technology vendors and ecosystem stakeholders.
- Drive commercial negotiations and close contracts.
- Build and mentor a proficient enterprise sales team.
- Oversee revenue generation, profitability, sales pipeline, and forecasting for the Indian market.
Candidate Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech degree required; MBA preferred.
- 15 to 22 years of experience in enterprise technology sales, including at least 7 years in leadership roles managing strategic enterprise accounts.
- Extensive sales experience with enterprise integration solutions, digital transformation services, cloud consulting, enterprise applications, middleware/integration platforms, API management, application modernization, digital engineering services, IT consulting, and managed services.
- Strong capability to engage with CXOs and lead large-scale consulting-driven transformation programs.
- Proven track record managing enterprise accounts involving multi-million-dollar engagements.
- Exceptional skills in business development, account management, and commercial negotiation.
