About the Role
Stanley Black & Decker, a leading global tool company, is offering an opportunity based in East Tamaki, Auckland, New Zealand. This permanent, full-time position is for an Inbound Operations Specialist working onsite during the morning shift from 5:30am to 2pm.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily inbound operation activities to maximize productivity and control costs efficiently.
- Coordinate workload to meet customer order requirements and operational deadlines ensuring timely handling and shipment processing.
- Establish and maintain relevant Key Performance Indicators for performance tracking.
- Promote a workplace culture emphasizing innovation, fiscal responsibility, and alignment with corporate mission, vision, and values.
- Identify and communicate potential improvements in procedures to supervisors and support continuous process enhancement.
- Support overall Distribution Centre operations to satisfy customer expectations and uphold a culture of high performance.
Candidate Profile
- Proven significant experience in warehouse and distribution inbound processes and best practices.
- Strong commitment to team motivation and contributing positively to workplace culture.
- Operational planning skills with relevant systems expertise.
- Willingness to allocate about 60% of work time using planning and management systems and 40% performing on-the-floor activities.
- Previous experience managing and adhering to budgets.
- Preferred proficiency in SAP, JDA, and intermediate-level Microsoft Excel or knowledge of comparable software.
- Holding MBI Accreditation (AP/TFO) is advantageous.
