Position Overview
The Human Resource Manager will be responsible for delivering comprehensive HR support to specified client groups within Nestlé. This encompasses effective organizational design and execution of HR strategies including recruitment, employee development, labor relations, policy interpretation, compensation management, and compliance with legal regulations. The role also involves leading organizational change, coaching leadership to enhance workplace culture, and managing the entire HR service delivery process. Travel is expected in this role, approximately 15-25% of the time.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement HR strategies to align with business objectives, attract and retain talent, and promote development.
- Lead using Nestlé's management and organizational alignment principles.
- Ensure a positive, fair, and empowering work culture by analyzing HR metrics and employee feedback.
- Facilitate flawless execution of HR initiatives and act as a change agent when necessary.
- Deliver alternative business solutions aligned with company principles and goals.
- Oversee HR service delivery while cultivating a supportive company culture.
- Manage workforce planning and challenge organizational structures to enhance performance.
- Drive performance management through talent development tools, objective setting, and succession planning.
- Advise leadership on people management issues and conduct investigations as needed.
- Foster strong relationships with management, employees, and unions to boost employee engagement.
- Lead leadership development efforts, enabling employee skill improvement and productivity.
- Maintain legal compliance in employee relations and guide management on regulatory adherence.
- Analyze personnel trends to address issues impacting morale and employment conditions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field; Master's preferred in related disciplines.
- PHR or SPHR certification through HRCI/SHRM highly desirable.
- At least 7 years of professional experience, including 5 years in HR or Employee Relations management roles.
- Strong background as an HR Generalist with operational experience and expertise in change leadership and cultural development.
- Comprehensive understanding of federal and state employment laws and proficiency in conducting investigations.
- Technical knowledge of EEO, AA, FMLA, ADA, unemployment, and workers’ compensation processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and HRIS systems such as PeopleSoft or SAP.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and self-manage projects efficiently.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary range for this position is $140,000 to $160,000 annually, subject to final determination based on qualifications and location.
