About the Role
The HSE Technician is primarily responsible for ensuring a secure and healthy working environment across all buildings and locations of Binzagr CO-RO LTD by working closely with the HSE team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related disciplines.
- Experience ranging from zero to one year in Health, Safety, and Environment, ideally in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector.
- Certification as an HSE Practitioner.
- Proficiency in ISO 45001 audits, hygiene and food safety standards, Good Practice (GxP) internal audits, and HSE standards.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic languages.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the rollout and ongoing enhancement of HSE initiatives throughout the organization.
- Ensure adherence to HSE protocols, procedures, and relevant legal requirements.
- Carry out workplace inspections to detect potential safety and health hazards and help implement corrective measures.
- Take part in internal audits and evaluations related to HSE, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and other quality management systems.
- Contribute to maintaining ISO 45001 and affiliated management systems.
- Help organize and execute safety awareness and training sessions for employees.
- Track and accurately document HSE metrics, incident reports, near misses, and safety observations.
- Work collaboratively across departments to foster a culture of safety and promote continuous improvement.
- Support the enforcement of company policies and ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Perform any additional HSE-related responsibilities as assigned.
