Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Officer to oversee daily safety activities within facilities management operations. This role involves conducting inspections, ensuring adherence to safety standards, supporting incident inquiries, and encouraging a culture of safe work practices.
Key Duties
- Carry out daily inspections across worksites.
- Identify hazards and carry out risk assessments.
- Oversee Permit-to-Work processes to maintain compliance.
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Deliver safety briefings and Toolbox Talks to teams.
- Provide HSE inductions for new personnel.
- Assist with emergency response efforts when needed.
- Investigate accidents and near-miss occurrences.
- Maintain accurate HSE records and documentation.
- Supervise contractors to guarantee compliance with safety protocols.
- Report observations and implement corrective measures.
- Encourage continuous improvement in health and safety standards.
Minimum Qualifications and Certifications
- Diploma, certificate, or technical qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering, Science, or related fields.
- Mandatory: NEBOSH International General Certificate and IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent certification.

Professional Experience
- Three to five years of relevant HSE work experience.
