Role Overview
The HR Generalist will handle diverse human resources responsibilities, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits management, compliance, and workplace culture development. Operating in a hybrid setup in Columbus, Ohio, this role partners with leadership and staff to nurture a positive work atmosphere while ensuring efficient, regulatory-compliant, and employee-centered HR procedures.
Key Duties
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment, delivering a seamless candidate experience and coordinating interview schedules.
- Assist in onboarding new hires and support workforce planning.
- Act as a reliable advisor for employee inquiries and workplace issues, fostering strong organizational relationships and aiding conflict resolution.
- Manage benefit programs, maintain accurate records, and handle HR administrative tasks, ensuring confidentiality.
- Ensure adherence to employment laws and policies, aid in HR policy development, and support internal audits.
- Collaborate with leadership to boost employee engagement, improve workplace culture, and recommend enhancements to HR processes.
Candidate Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related discipline.
- At least three years as an HR Generalist with strong understanding of HR principles, compliance, and employment practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities in dynamic environments.
- Preferred experience includes employee engagement initiatives, HRIS familiarity, benefits administration, and sound decision-making skills.
