Overview
We seek a seasoned HR Business Partner to provide expert support to teams within Ireland. The ideal professional will be adept in Irish and English employment legislation and apply HR best practices effectively. This role acts as a trusted consultant for business leadership, driving human capital initiatives that advance organizational objectives while ensuring adherence to statutory requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
- Function as the main HR liaison for Irish managers and staff, delivering guidance on all employment-related matters.
- Collaborate with business leaders to create and execute HR strategies that align with company goals.
- Advise on organizational structure, workforce planning, and managing change.
- Ensure HR policies comply with Irish labor laws, collective agreements, and local standards.
- Manage employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance procedures, with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Keep abreast of current Irish employment laws, translating them into practical HR policies.
- Support performance management activities such as feedback, appraisals, and career development conversations.
- Partner with leadership on talent development, succession planning, and employee retention strategies.
- Coordinate with Talent Acquisition for smooth onboarding and workforce integration.
- Lead or contribute to HR initiatives like diversity, equity & inclusion projects, culture cultivation, engagement programs, and organizational transformation efforts.
- Adapt global HR strategies to the Irish context ensuring relevance and compliance.
- Utilize HR data and analytics to generate insights and promote continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Manager, or an equivalent role within Ireland.
- In-depth understanding of Irish employment legislation.
- Proven capability to build trusted partnerships with business leaders and workforce members.
- Expertise managing intricate employee relations matters with sensitivity.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR lifecycle processes.
- Strong persuasion, negotiation, and communication abilities.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
