Job Overview
We are looking to hire enthusiastic and dedicated Housekeeping Attendants who are passionate about delivering exceptional guest service and creative solutions. This role is based at Al Ain Rotana in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi Emirate, UAE. The successful candidate will adhere to all hotel policies and fulfill daily assigned duties under supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive daily work assignments, keys, and supplies from supervisors and accurately record key details in the log book.
- Perform thorough cleaning of rooms and bathrooms, including beds, sinks, bathtubs, toilets, tiles, mirrors, furniture, and floors.
- Ensure fire exits and stairways remain free from obstructions for safety compliance.
- Promptly report any maintenance issues to the relevant department.
- Maintain cleanliness by picking up litter in corridors and pathways.
- Vacuum carpets and upholstered furniture, dust and wipe surfaces, empty ashtrays, and wastebaskets as needed.
- Restock bathroom and room supplies regularly.
- Arrange guest toiletries neatly on vanity tops and perform spot cleaning of carpets.
- Keep guest corridors, service pantries, and service areas clean and organized at all times.
- Remove room service trays and trolleys from guestrooms and hallways promptly.
- Coordinate with valet services to collect guests' clothing for laundry, dry-cleaning, or pressing as requested.
Qualifications and Skills
- Vocational training or equivalent experience in hotel housekeeping is preferred.
- Good command of English language is advantageous for communication.
- Friendly and caring demeanor with high dedication towards guest service.
- Cross-cultural sensitivity and ability to work with diverse teams and guests.
- Capable of working effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of job responsibilities and willingness to take responsibility.
- Customer-focused with adaptability and excellent teamwork skills.
