Housekeeper

Overview

North Platte Valley Medical Center is seeking a Housekeeper to support the Environmental Services Department responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitization across the hospital, clinic, and extended care unit. This role includes managing onsite laundry facilities and requires adherence to safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning and sanitization throughout the medical center including patient rooms, bathrooms, and dining areas.
• Collect and empty trash receptacles regularly.
• Operate laundry equipment such as washers and dryers as required.
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions promptly.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrate attention to detail, maintain confidentiality, and exhibit professionalism.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Physical capability to lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds and to stand for extended periods while performing bending, reaching, lifting, and pulling tasks.
• Comfortable handling cleaning agents that involve harsh chemicals.

Working Schedule
