About the Role
Hove Village Day Nursery Ltd. is a group dedicated to providing inspiring childcare with creativity at its core. We are seeking two Housekeepers to join our team at the Bloomsbury Street location, working hours from 10am to 7pm.
Primary Duties
- Maintain cleanliness in classrooms, communal spaces, and offices.
- Ensure all rooms including bathrooms and changing areas are stocked with essentials such as soap, paper towels, and nappies.
- Manage the stockroom with routine inventory checks and reorder supplies as needed.
- Keep an updated cleaning schedule and oversee recycling and waste collection.
- Clean surfaces, windows, equipment, and common areas including reception.
- Assist in clearing lunch areas.
- Support a safe, nurturing environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines ensuring children's wellbeing.
Candidate Profile
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in nursery, daycare, or school settings.
- Familiarity with COSHH regulations and health and safety standards within childcare environments.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine commitment to maintaining a secure and hygienic space for children.
